Fabricated the rudder support channels and riveted them with their nutplates to the F-1201B firewall shelf. Had my indoctrination to MC-236-B2 fuel tank sealant. Mixed the two part sealant by weight using a kitchen gram scale. 50 grams of part I to 5 grams of part II. Lessons learned. The plans tell you to spread a thin layer of the sealant on the flange. MAKE it a THIN layer. Second, use surgeon's gloves when messing with this stuff. Think it will be about 3 weeks before my fingers return to their original color vice black. Hope to cut the excess bead using a blade after it sets up. See my pictures. Have the cleco's soaking in laquer thinner. Have wiped them off once with paper towels.

Fabricated the F-1201L bracket two times. Was not satisfied with the first. Match drilled it with the assistance of Renee. Deburred it and then primed it with Marhyde. Completed this day by riveting it with its nutplate to the tunnel ribs and the firewall bottom.

No real problems with the plans other than the second nutplate attached in Step 11 needs to be dimpled.
